Preparation and delivery of a 4-day workshop during the International Leadership Training: "Community Accelerator" program implemented in Poland. The event was part of the project "Social Innovative Ukrainian Centers in Central Europe: Empowerment and Social Support" financed by the European Social Fund under the Social Innovation Initiative program. The following program was implemented during the workshop: 1) Creating an effective learning atmosphere - group agreements, key concepts, introduction to the training topic. 2) Principles of civil society - an experimental task. 3) Why we initiate social activities - shared values. 4) The role and competencies of a community leader. 5) Civic participation forms and tools for community engagement. Tools for assessing community needs. 6) Community projects - where to start? How projects solve community problems. Project applications - how to match your idea to the application.
